DAVAO CITY -- Former Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super featherweight champion Carlo "The Ferocious" Magali of Bohol will show his wares again on August 3 at the Barangay Vergara Covered Court in Mandaluyong City.

The 32 year-old Magali (23W-12L-3D, 12KO) will fight Nathan Bolcio (14W-16L-3D, 4KO) of Benguet in a six-round match.

Magali TKO'd Masatoshi Kotani of Japan in the 10th round to retain his OPBF super featherweight title on January 13, 2018 in Korakuen Hall, Tokyo.

Magali, however, lost in his next OPBF title fight to Hironori Mishiro of Japan by a split decision last June 20 in Differ Ariaka, Tokyo.

He suffered another defeat at the hands of Masao Nakamura of Japan via a TKO in the 10th round in the vacant World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific super featherweight title last December 1.

Bolcio, on the other hand, lost to Manila's Roldan Aldea by a 1st round knockout last May 4, 2019 for the Philippine lightweight title.

He also lost to Al Toyogon of Misamis Oriental in a 6th round TKO last September 20 in a battle of WBC ABC Silver super featherweight title.

Meanwhile, the 34 year-old minimumweight female boxer Jessebelle Pagaduan (11W-1L-1D, 5KO) of Benguet will fight Charimae Salvador (4W-2L-0D, 1KO) of Iligan in the undercard. (PNA)
