DAVAO CITY -- Undefeated Lorenz Ladrada of Cagayan de Oro City will fight the dangerous Rimon "Rapido" Rama of Cebu on Aug. 17 at the Superdome in Ormoc City.
The 22-year old Ladrada (6W-0L-1D, 2KO) beat Audie Dacua of Cebu by unanimous decision in Cebu last Nov. 24.
He settled a split decision over Bacolod's Elmer Liboon last April 24 in La Carlota City. Rama, 22 (6W-2l-1D, 4KO) TKO'd Joash Jorda in the 1st round in Masbate last 2017.
He, however, lost in two succeeding bouts. Rama first lost by a unanimous decision to Richard Bulacan of Davao del Norte last Oct. 27, 2017.
He then retired to Lienard Sarcon of Gen Santos City in the 4th round on May 23, 2019 in the TV5 Studio, Novaliches.
Meanwhile, Esneth "Hard Hitter" Domingo of Sultan Kudarat will face southpaw Belmar Plaza of Cebu in the under card.
The 20-year old Domingo (11W-1L-0D, 6KO) lost to Alphoe Dagayloan by a unanimous decision in their battle for the World Boxing Association Asia bantamweight title last April 13 in Bacoor, Cavite.
Domingo, however, won by a UD to Cotabato's Reymark Taday in November last year in Minglanilla, Cebu.
Plaza, on the other hand, won by a TKO over Bohol's Robert Awitin in the 3rd round on last March 2 in Talibon, Bohol.
He then lost to Bohol's Anthony Galigao in the 4th round on March 27 in Bohol.
