MANILA -- Riga Ghetto took home the championship in the Chooks-To-Go FIBA 3x3 Manila Challenger after beating Lyon, 21-20, in the final at the SM Fairview Events Center in Quezon City on Sunday.
Nauris Miezis scored on the game-winning layup with 1:30 left as Riga stopped Lyon's comeback bid.
Riga, the No. 2 3x3 club in the world, took home USD15,000 (almost PHP771,000) and a seat in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Jeddah Masters for winning the two-day event.
Lyon, on the other hand, settled for USD10,000 (almost PHP514,000) for the second-place finish. (PNA)
