DAVAO CITY -- Undefeated Rey 'The Future' Caitom will fight Frans Damur Palue of Indonesia for the vacant World Boxing Council Asia Boxing Council Continental minimumweight title at the Foochow Building in Singapore on September 28.

Caitom, a native of Mandaue City and now a resident of Singapore, won his last two fights against Indonesian fighters.

He ended his almost two-decade layoff with a unanimous decision win against Silem Serang of Indonesia on Nov. 30, 2018.

The 33-year-old orthodox fighter followed it up with an impressive second-round technical knockout victory against another Indonesian Khachonsak Pothong last June 29.

Caitom will be fighting Paule, who is coming off from a loss to Gali Susanto on March 29 this year and has an unimpressive 15-22-3 ring record.

Meanwhile, Nurshahidah 'The Sniper' Roslie (14W-2L-0D, 11 KO) of Singapore will take on undefeated Fan Yin (8W-0L, 2KO) of China for the vacant WBC Silver female super bantamweight title.

The promoter is Arvind Lalwani of Singapore Fighting Championship. (PNA)
