COTABATO CITY – The Maguindanao provincial government and the provincial board have welcomed a member of the Teduray tribe who will be representing the indigenous peoples (IP) in the provincial legislative body.

“I will support all programs that Gov. Mangudadatu will benefit, not only my tribe but the whole people of Maguindanao,” he added in the vernacular.
Mangudadatu, meanwhile, also assured the IPs in Maguindanao that their voices will always be heard in all levels of governance “as long as I am your governor.”
In the same event, the lady governor also administered the oath of office to the newly elected officials of Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) Maguindanao chapter, led by its president and Councilor Datu Bagets Ampatuan of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao. (PNA)
