KIDAPAWAN CITY, North Cotabato -- Police and anti-narcotic agents arrested on Tuesday three persons, including two women, in separate law enforcement operations in the province.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 12 (Soccsksargen) director Naravy Duquiatan said the first to be arrested was Mark Villaluz, 21, student, of Barangay Bual, Tulunan, North Cotabato.

Villaluz was collared at 7 p.m. Tuesday after he allegedly handed over a sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent.

Seized from Villaluz were three sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP5,000 and the PHP500 marked money used in the buy-bust, Duquiatan said.

He was immediately brought to the Tulunan police office for proper booking procedures.

An hour later, authorities also arrested two women during a drug buy-bust inside a lodging house in Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City.

Duquiatan identified the arrested individuals as Marjorie Filomeno Roa, 25, of Barangay Birada; and Jennyve Albiso Goling, 20, of Barangay San Isidro; both in Kidapawan City.

Confiscated from them was a sachet of shabu valued at PHP5,000, she said.

“The women dealt with a poseur-buyer inside the lodging establishment,” Duquiatan said.

Detained at the Kidapawan police custodial facility, both women have been charged with the violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
