CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The provincial government of Pampanga distributed on Thursday some PHP1.9 million educational assistance to 358 students in the province.

The move is part of its continuing efforts to provide investments for the education of the youth.

The Pineda administration believes that the better future of the province and its families are in the hands of the highly-educated youth.

Vice Governor Lilia Pineda led the distribution of educational assistance to the scholars at Benigno Hall, Capitol Boulevard, Barangay Sto. Niño here.

“After you graduate, help your parents. You should give back to them all their sacrifices just to provide all your needs,” she said.

She also advised the students, who received PHP5,500 each, to “wear proper attire when attending job interviews, and always be confident when speaking.”

Governor Dennis Pineda, meanwhile, also sent his regards to the student beneficiaries.

“Nurture your education, because it is the best gift that your parents could ever give you,” he said.

The distribution of the educational assistance was facilitated by the Provincial Library, in coordination with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office. (PNA)
