DFA issues urgent advisory to Filipinos abroad on nCoV

MANILA — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday urged Filipinos worldwide, especially in areas affected by the novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD), to take the necessary personal precaution to ensure their health and safety.

Filipinos who need 2019-nCoV ARD-related assistance are urged to get in touch with the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General in their area immediately.

Filipinos in China may contact the hotline numbers of the Philippine Embassy and Consulates General in China (https://dfa.gov.ph/2019-ncov-advisories/25823-public-advisory-hotline-numbers-of-philippine-embassy-and-consulates-general-in-china-and-chinese-mfa-on-the-novel-coronavirus-outbreak-in-china) as well as the WeChat hotline of the Department of Health and the DFA as provided on this link (https://dfa.gov.ph/2019-ncov-advisories/25826-doh-wechat-hotline-for-filipinos-on-n-coronavirus-outbreak).

Filipinos in Wuhan City and the rest of Hubei province who wish to come home may contact the Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai until Wednesday, February 5, for arrangements.
