CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Another patient who has been tested positive for the new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in this province has died, bringing the total number of death to two.
The Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Bulacan said in an advisory Saturday night that the patient was a male from San Ildefonso town, known as PH 304.
Dr. Joy Gomez, provincial public health officer, said the first Bulakenyo Covid-19 fatality is PH 57, also from San Ildefonso town, who died on Wednesday.
Gomez said the number of Bulakenyos who tested positive for the viral disease is now at seven and are still confined in undisclosed hospitals.
Bulacan now has a total of 163 patients under investigation (PUIs) and 468 persons under monitoring (PUMs) as of Saturday night, the PHO reported. (PNA)
