MANILA – Security Bank Corporation (Security Bank) will implement additional operational adjustments for its branches nationwide starting Friday as more areas implement the enhanced community quarantine amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

In an advisory Friday, the bank said it has adopted a “no mask, no entry” policy for all branches to protect not only their employees but the banking public as well.

Only select branches will be opened and on shortened banking hours, while weekend operations have been suspended.

Clients can check the list of branches and branch schedules through the bank’s Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/notes/security-bank/advisory-branches-open-until-3pm-during-enhanced-quarantine/2976711285725403/.

The bank is also suspending some over-the-counter (OTC) services such as cash withdrawals of less than PHP50,000, transactions of automated teller machine (ATM) cardholders with more than PHP50,000 requirement, and bills payments.

Bills payments can be done through the ATMs or the bank’s online platform.

Withdrawal fees, including those of non-Security Bank cardholders, have been waived, while the daily withdrawal limit has been increased to PHP50,000. (PNA)
