CITY OF CAUAYAN -- Dubbed as Isabela's "broadcaster of all times", 69-year-old McArthur Andres Daguro, joined the Creator on Thursday, April 2, due to a lingering illness.

Daguro had previously worked as station manager of Nation Broadcasting Corporation's radio station DWSI-Santiago, DZYT-Tuguegarao, and DZYI-Ilagan.

He was also a former DZNC (now Bombo Radyo) staffmember under the previous owner Carayo Perez. In his late 60s, he became a member of various national and local organizations.

He was also a local political analyst, joined various media groups and became director of the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc.

His friends remember him as someone "always smiling" and a man with a "golden voice".

Daguro's daughter, Teresa, said the veteran media practitioner would have been 70 years old on April 8.

His remains lie at their home in Cauayan City, Isabela. The interment will be announced soon. (PNA)
