Total PH, CleanFuel give fuel subsidy to buses of health workers

MANILA – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) partnered with two more petroleum firms to provide free fuel to buses giving free bus ride for health workers during the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade thanked Total Philippines and CleanFuel for the fuel subsidy that would be given to the buses giving the free rides.

CleanFuel will provide 40 liters of fuel for 20 bus units starting April 8 until 30. These will be given at the CleanFuel Kamias, Quezon City and Biñan branch.

Meanwhile, Total will provide free fuel to 30 participating bus units (PHP1,000/unit), or vehicles of medical front-liners (PHP300/unit), upon station opening. Total started the provision of free fuel last April 3 and will continue until April 17.
