BULACAN – The Philippine Arena, the largest of the four mega swabbing facilities established by the government in partnership with the private sector, opened on Wednesday as the country scales up its efforts to coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) expanded and targeted testing.

The swabbing facility inside the Philippine Arena has 96 swabbing booths and capable of doing around 1,500 swabs per day.

Its protocols are based on the end-to-end T3 Management System against Covid-19, which is designed to test, trace, and treat patients.

Three mega swabbing facilities are already operational. These include the Palacio de Manila on Roxas Boulevard, Enderun Colleges in Taguig City, and the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

National Action Plan (NAP) Against Covid-19 Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr., Deputy Chief Implementer Vince Dizon, Senator Manny Pacquiao, and CEO of Maligaya Development Corp., lawyer Glicerio Santos IV joined the inspection of the swabbing facility. (PR)
