MANILA – Cloudy skies will prevail in the country on Saturday with the possibility of some rains and thunderstorms brought by the easterlies.

In its early morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

It said the easterlies will also bring light to moderate winds headed east to southeast to Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao, resulting in slight to moderate coastal waters of up to 1.5 meters.

The rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have light to moderate winds headed southeast to south, causing slight to moderate coastal waters of up to 1.5 meters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will be about 25°C to 34°C; Tagaytay City, 23°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 34°C; Metro Davao, 25°C to 34°C; and Zamboanga City, 24°C to 34°C. (PNA)
