Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay Jr., Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) director, identified the NPA rebel as Jimmy Tumbale Montisan, 44, an active Militia ng Bayan and communist terrorist group courier.

Armed with an arrest warrant, Cambay said authorities nabbed Montisan around 5:20 p.m. Friday in Purok 3, Barangay Tiwales, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur.

Cambay said Montisan has a standing warrant of arrest for act of lasciviousness with recommended bail of PHP36,000 issued by the court of Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
