DUMAGUETE CITY – Police operatives and personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) here have arrested a “high-value target” and four other suspects in a buy-bust operation in Zone II, Barangay Looc on Sunday.
The five suspects were identified as Richard Torres, 39; Shinette Sarabia, 43; Katrina Tish Davao, 47; Gwendell Ozoa, 43; and Gabriel Aranas, 54. They were arrested Sunday afternoon in a suspected drug den in Barangay Looc.
Lt. Col. Mark Sucalit, Dumaguete City police chief, said Monday that the buy-bust operation resulted in the confiscation of 11 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 12 grams and a Dangerous Drugs Board Value of PHP81,600.
Also confiscated were a printed pouch, assorted “drug paraphernalia”, and one PHP500 marked bill used in the buy-bust operation.
Torres is a “high-value target” listed in the PDEA database of suspected drug personalities, Sucalit said. (PNA)
