MANILA – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday announced that lotto operations will be allowed in general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) areas starting Friday.

In an advisory, the PCSO said included in the resumption of operations are the draw and selling of the tickets for Lotto 6/42, Mega Lotto 6/45, Super Lotto 6/49, Grand Lotto 6/55, and Ultra Lotto 6/58.

The selling period for the tickets is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the draw will be held at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, PCSO general manager Royina Garma said the agency's games in areas under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) are still suspended.

Small town lottery operations, meanwhile, remain suspended until further notice.

MECQ is in effect over Metro Manila and the nearby provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal until August 18. (PNA)
