Zambo anti-drug ops net 6, P122-K shabu

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Lawmen arrested a high-value target and five other drug personalities and seized PHP122,100 worth of suspected shabu in anti-drug operations in the region, a police official said Saturday.

Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay Jr., Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) director, identified the suspects as Millgie Anob Mission, 25; Argen Ho Sappari, 40; Ma. Luisa Enriquez, 40; Jursimel Aspi Jupakkal, 40; Roldan Manginsay Benitez, 42; and, Mohammad Mustafa Asan Muadz, 30.

Cambay said Mission, an HVT drug personality, was arrested by police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in a buy-bust around 12:50 p.m. Friday in Barangay Magadison, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Police said Mission yielded some five grams of suspected shabu worth PHP35,000 and PHP500 marked money.

Sappari and Enriquez, meanwhile, were arrested in possession of 11.5 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP78,200 and PHP200 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust around 1:10 p.m. Friday at Cabato Drive, Barangay Canelar here.

Police said Jupakkal yielded some PHP4,000 worth of suspected shabu and PHP300 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust around 3:30 p.m. Friday in Barangay Camino Nuevo.

Benitez, on the other hand, yielded some PHP1,500 worth of suspected shabu and PHP300 marked money in a buy-bust around 11:10 p.m. Friday in Barangay San Rafael, Isabela City, Basilan.

Police said Muadz was arrested in possession of some PHP3,400 worth of suspected shabu and PHP200 marked money in a buy-bust around 11:30 p.m. Friday in Barangay Kasanyangan.

Cambay said the suspects are in the custody of authorities while formal charges are set to be filed against them. (PNA)
