DAVAO CITY – Property developer DMCI Homes will soon harness technology-enabled services such as Wi-Fi in common areas, facial recognition and thermal scanners, to further raise the resort-living experience at Verdon Parc development along Ecoland Drive Corner Peacock Street here, a statement from the company said Sunday.

Dennis Yap, DMCI Homes vice president for project development, said apart from the said technology services, the mobile DMCI Communities App can now be used by the residents to conveniently access property management and community services.

“Along with the implementation of stringent protocols on safety and sanitation, we strive to give our returning residents a safe, convenient, and hotel-like lifestyle at Verdon Parc with all these enhanced features,” he said.

Yap also announced that they started welcoming returning residents of its Verdon Parc Martel building since August 8, following the issuance of a green tag and certificate of use by the Office of the City Building Official last July 30.

He added that Verdon Parc’s Property Management Office (PMO) has put in place health and safety measures to help ensure the smooth and safe return of residents. They have also offered free cleaning service of the units for the returning residents’ ease.

“We are eager to welcome our residents back to show to them what we have been working on to ensure their safety and to further elevate resort-living experience here at Verdon Parc,” Yap said.

The statement added that since the start of the year and with the easing of quarantine rules in this city in the past weeks, DMCI Homes has conducted a thorough renovation and upgrade of Verdon Parc’s Martel building to guarantee the safe return of residents to their units.

Coupled with the structural retrofitting enhancements is the rectification of the residential units, enhancements of landscaped areas and open spaces, and the rehabilitation of the condominium’s fixtures and amenities such as the swimming pool complex and children’s play area.

DMCI Homes also said it has tapped well-trained and experienced property management staff to let residents enjoy the perks of vacation lifestyle while in the comfort of their own private community. (PR)
