MANILA – Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two suspects and seized shabu worth PHP136 million in a buy-bust operation in Parañaque City on Monday afternoon.
In an advisory, PDEA said the suspects were identified as Mangie Sotolombo, 49, resident 254 St. Mary St., Barangay 186, Maricaban, Pasay City, and Carlos Vallente, 27, resident of Baldyos, Purok 5, Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac.
The suspects yielded 20 kilos of shabu and a cellphone during the operation along Pacific Avenue in Barangay Tambo.
The suspects are now under PDEA custody and are set to face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
