7 new recoveries, 30 Covid-19 infections reported among OFs

MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday said seven new recoveries and 30 new infections were reported among overseas Filipinos, raising the total recoveries and active cases to 7,364 and 3,218, respectively.

The new cases came from the Asia Pacific and Europe.

As of posting, the breakdown of all active cases is as follows: 533 in the Asia Pacific, 197 in Europe, 2,332 in the Middle East/Africa, and 156 in the Americas.

Meanwhile, all three recoveries were logged in the Asia Pacific.

No new fatalities were recorded for November 5, with the death toll remaining at 828.

"The DFA shall continue to keep track of the status of overseas Filipinos and stands ready to assist and facilitate repatriations, whenever possible," the DFA said. (PNA)
