MANILA – Another batch of 60 police officers from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) have been enrolled in the ongoing Criminal Investigation Course (CIC) to improve their sleuthing skills.

In a statement Tuesday, NCRPO chief Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. said the 60 police officers came from the five different Metro Manila police districts.

"The CIC is regularly conducted under the supervision of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) that aims to enhance the investigative capability and excellence of policemen in the field of investigation," Danao said.

He added the CIC aims to provide investigators with comprehensive, high-quality instruction in investigative fundamentals, techniques, and current detection trends.

"This is also an opportunity for investigators to cultivate the analytical, intuitive and investigative skills, building a strong foundation of academic and practical information of investigators," Danao said.

The CIC is currently being held at NCRPO headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.

Danao urged the participants not to take the course for granted and instead use it properly for the benefit of the community. (PNA)
