MANILA – Cloudy skies and rains will continue over the Visayas and parts of Luzon due to the northeast monsoon affecting the country, the weather bureau said Wednesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Bicol region and Samar provinces will experience rains.

The rest of the Visayas, the Cagayan Valley and Caraga regions, as well as Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon, will have light rains.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas.

Over Mindanao, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
