P87-K shabu seized as Bacolod cops bust 5 drug suspects

BACOLOD CITY – Operatives of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) arrested five persons and seized PHP87,280 worth of suspected shabu in three separate buy-busts here on Tuesday and Wednesday, reports showed.

At 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Dharyl Navarro, 27, was caught selling PHP500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer of Police Station 4 in Purok Villa Angeles, Barangay Estefania.

Navarro, a resident of Purok Arao, Barangay Vista Alegre, yielded two sachets of the prohibited substance weighing 5.1 grams valued at PHP34,680.

On Tuesday night, three persons were arrested in Purok Kaingin, Barangay Singcang-Airport by Police Station 8 operatives.

The suspects were identified as Xenia Peroja Garcia, 53; Nato Medel Garcia, 58; and Paul Peroja Garcia, age not stated.

An undercover policeman bought PHP500 worth of shabu from the suspects during the operation around 11:30 p.m.

Policemen seized seven small sachets of the prohibited substance weighing less than a gram valued at PHP5,000 as well as a coin purse and an improvised tooter.

Earlier at 6:30 p.m., the drug enforcement team of Police Station 7 arrested Reynaldo Gracilla, a high-value individual at his residence in Purok Kabugwason, Barangay Mansilingan.

Gracilla, 45, sold PHP500 worth of shabu to an undercover policeman, and also yielded four sachets of the same prohibited substance weighing seven grams with a value of PHP47,600 along with an improvised tooter. (PNA)
