Zambo opens online listing as 5th vax shipment arrives

ZAMBOANGA CITY --The Department of Health-9 (DOH-9 received Saturday the shipment of the fifth batch of vaccines from the DOH central office.

Dr. Augusto Manolo Alpichi, DOH-9 assistant director, said the latest shipment consisted of 25,200 doses of Sinovac vaccines for the A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (persons with comorbidities) priority groups.

Alpichi said the vaccines would be used to inoculate some 12,600 members of the A2 and A3 priority groups at two doses each with 28 days interval.

Some 26,374 senior citizens registered for vaccination, said Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer.

Meanwhile, Miravite said they have opened Friday an online Covid-19 vaccine registration and that those who wish to be inoculated can register at zambocovax.com.

Applicants should be 18-years-old and above and will be required to upload an identification card as well as provide some information like name, address, and contact number.

Miravite said applicants will be notified as to the schedule and venue of the vaccination. (PNA)
