MANILA – Parts of Mindanao will have some rains on Saturday brought by the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

In its 4 a.m. daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought by the ITCZ will prevail over the Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula regions, as well as the provinces of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds headed southeast to northeast will blow over Northern Luzon, causing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Winds with the same intensity but headed east to northeast will prevail over the rest of the country, with the same coastal water conditions.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 34°C; Baguio City, 18°C to 27°C; Lipa City, 26°C to 34°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 33°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 24°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 33°C. (PNA)
