MANILA – Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday due to intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in Palawan, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao due to ITCZ.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds headed east to southeast will blow over Northern Luzon, causing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Winds with the same intensity but headed east to northeast will blow over the rest of the country with the same coastal water conditions.

The minimum temperature will be 25.0 °C and the maximum temperature will be 34.2 °C. (PNA)
