KIDAPAWAN CITY – The provincial office of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in North Cotabato is intensifying the distribution of more than 1,800 Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) to beneficiaries across the province.

Rodolfo Alburo, provincial agrarian reform program officer (PARPO), said Monday he directed his staff to fast-track the distribution as directed by the DAR central office.

“I directed the municipal agrarian reform officers of North Cotabato to distribute CLOAs by the end of May 2021,” Alburo said. “It must be properly distributed and received by the beneficiaries as instructed by DAR Secretary John Castriciones."

To date, a total of 1,845 CLOAs in the province are set for distribution by municipal agrarian reform officers (MARPOs) to beneficiaries.

Alburo said the MARPOs were directed to bring the CLOAs to the homes of beneficiaries under the “Serbisyong DAR to DOOR” program to hasten the distribution process.

The “DAR to DOOR initiative” is a system introduced by Castriciones to deliver the CLOAs right at the doorsteps of the agrarian beneficiaries’ homes. (PNA)
