BALIWAG, Bulacan – Two arrested drug suspects yielded dried marijuana leaves and extract/liquid marijuana with an estimated street value of PHP930,000 in an entrapment operation in this town on Friday night.
Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 3 (Central Luzon), the Bulacan Police’s intelligence unit, and Baliwag Police conducted an entrapment operation along the Pulilan-Baliwag Bypass road in Barangay Pinagbarilan here.
PDEA-3 Director Christian O. Frivaldo on Saturday identified the arrested as Shota Ando and Carmela Ricafort, both 29 and residents of Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City.
Confiscated from them were 6 kg. of dried marijuana leaves, 30 pieces of vape cartridge containing suspected marijuana oil, marked money, IDs, cell phone, and a red Honda CRV.
Frivaldo said appropriate charges for violation of Sections 5 and 26-B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165, of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were being prepared against the two. (PNA)
