CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – A total of 181,925 Bulakenyos in the province’s 21 towns and three cities have so far been vaccinated against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

Patricia Alvaro, Provincial Health Office Health Education Promotion officer, said on Tuesday out of the total number, 145,055 received the first dose while 36,870 also received their second dose.

Alvaro said the vaccinated Bulakenyos came from the priority groups who have received at least one dose of the AstraZeneca or Sinovac vaccine as of Monday night.

She also said the province has received a total of 217,138 vaccines and will receive another 70,000 doses of Pfizer and SinoVac vaccines this week under the national government's intensified vaccination rollout.

Alvaro assured that the Bulacan Vaccination Center is properly implementing the policies set out in the Covid-19 Vaccination Program Act of 2021 signed by President Rodrigo Duterte as Republic Act 11525.
