Ticket sold in Tarlac wins P17-M Lotto jackpot

MANILA – A lone bettor from Tarlac bagged the PHP17 million jackpot prize draw of the Lotto 6/42 on Thursday night.

In an advisory on Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky bettor guessed the winning combination 41-17-33-34-01-15 with a jackpot of PHP17,926,182.00. The ticket was purchased in Tarlac City.

To claim the check, the bettor must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

Twenty other bettors who guessed five out of the six two-digit winning combinations won PHP32,000 each, the PCSO said.

About 641 bettors got PHP1,000 each for getting four of the winning combinations while 12,020 bettors won PHP30 each for guessing three right combinations.

The 6/42 lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This is the fourth time this month where a lone bettor bagged the jackpot prize of the state lottery's games.

During the draw on August 20, a lone bettor from Zamboanga del Norte bagged the PHP24 million jackpot prize draw of the Mega Lotto 6/45.

A lone bettor from Bulacan bagged the PHP48 million jackpot on August 15 in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw while on August 5, a bettor from Batangas province bagged the PHP77-million jackpot prize draw of the Lotto 6/42. (PNA)
