DAVAO CITY – The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) mobile vaccination drive has served 4,700 Dabawenyos since its rollout on August 30, the Davao City Covid-19 Vaccination Cluster reported on Wednesday.

In a statement, the vaccination cluster said out of this number, the office of Councilor Joselle Villafuerte served 1,422 residents; Councilor Isidro Ungab, 1,273 individuals; Councilor Myrna Ortiz, 700 individuals; and Councilor Petite Principe, 405 individuals.

Also, each of the offices of Councilors Bai Cassandra Advincula, Javi Campos, and Richlyn Justol-Baguilod served 300 individuals in their respective districts.

The SP's mobile vaccination was made possible after Mayor Sara Z. Duterte has requested the Office of the Vice-Mayor and the councilors to put up their mobile vaccination teams.

Duterte hoped that with the regular 10,000 daily vaccinations for the first dose, the city can achieve its 15,000-daily target of vaccinated individuals with more vaccination teams being mobilized for both fixed, non-fixed, and sectoral sites.

The SP mobile vaccination teams are targeting to inoculate 7,500 more individuals in September.

The target is based on the scheduled vaccinations in the city's three congressional districts.

“Other councilors have yet to finalize their schedules,” the statement read. (PNA)
