CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Three suspects yielded around PHP650,000 worth of illegal drugs in an operation in this province on Thursday.
Col. Rhoderick Campo, director of the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, said on Friday members of the Cabanatuan City Police Station arrested Dexter Mendoza, Alberto Gayla, and Joey Pajulas in a buy-bust in Barangay Sangitan West, Cabanatuan City.
Confiscated from the suspects were 22 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 96 grams of shabu worth around PHP652,800, a PHP1,000 bill, and a PHP500 bill used as marked money.
The suspects will be charged with violations of Section 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act. (PNA)
