Embiid, Harden lead 76ers beat Knicks 125-109

ANKARA – James Harden and Joel Embiid combined for 66 points in 125-109 Philadelphia 76ers win over the New York Knicks late Sunday.

Embiid dropped 37 points with a career and NBA season-high 23 free throws as Harden recorded a triple-double in his second Sixers game with 29 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds.

RJ Barrett and Evan Fournier each finished with 24 points for the Knicks, who suffered the fifth consecutive loss.

Julius Randle also recorded a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

Third-placed 76ers improved their record to 37 victories and 23 losses in the Eastern Conference.

The Knicks are at the 12th place with 25 wins and 36 losses.
