312 law offenders nabbed in Bulacan’s weeklong anti-crime drive

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – A total of 312 law offenders were arrested during the simultaneous anti-criminality law enforcement operation (SACLEO) in this province from February 22 to 28.
 
In a report on Tuesday, Col. Rommel Ochave, acting provincial director of Bulacan Philippine National Police (PNP), said some PHP810,559 worth of illegal drugs were seized during the operations that resulted in the arrest of 100 drug suspects.
 
Ochave said the confiscated drugs were 285 sachets of shabu weighing about 92.62 grams and 10 sachets of dried marijuana leaves weighing 1,527.2 grams, and assorted drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.
 
He said 23 most wanted persons and 74 other fugitives were also nabbed in different manhunt operations by virtue of a warrant of arrest served by the tracker teams.
 
He added 115 individuals were arrested in different anti-illegal gambling operations.
 
Meanwhile, Ochave said “Oplan Katok” operations yielded 74 firearms that were surrendered to different police stations for safekeeping. (PNA)
