BALER, Aurora – A suspected drug peddler was arrested and some PHP414 million worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust in Marilao, Bulacan on Wednesday.
In a message to the Philippine News Agency, Bryan Babang, regional director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon (PDEA-3), said the entrapment led to the arrest of a high-value target identified as Jalon Supe Laureta of Bacoor, Cavite.
Babang said confiscated from the suspect were some 60 kilos of shabu, a Toyota Altis vehicle, three cellular phones, and some identification cards.
Laureta will be charged with the violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). (PNA)
