LIMAY, Bataan – Bataan First District Rep. Geraldine Roman hailed Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s love for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) sector and expressed confidence that the latter will continue her selfless public service if elected vice president.

Speaking before UniTeam supporters at the Limay Sports Complex here on Thursday, Roman shared how she idolizes Duterte because of her love and acceptance of LGBT community members.

“Mahal na mahal ko ang babaeng ito dahil mahal na mahal niya ang mga LGBT (I really love this woman because she loves LGBT so much),” said Roman who is the first transgender elected to the Lower House of Representatives. “Narito po ako, berdeng-berde, para po magpaabot ng aking suporta sa ating magiging vice president ng republika, walang iba kundi si Vice President Sara Duterte (I’m here, wearing green, to extend my support to our vice president of the republic, no other than Vice President Sara Duterte).”

Roman also expressed full support for UniTeam presidential candidate, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“Ako ay galing sa 1st district at nais kong malaman ninyong lahat na kami ay solid BBM-Sara. Tayong lahat rin dito sa Limay ay solid BBM-Sara din (I came from 1st district and I want you to know that we are solid BBM-Sara. All of us here in Limay are solid BBM-Sara also),” she said.

She serenaded Duterte with her rendition of ‘Umagang kay Ganda’, one of the campaign songs of Marcos.

Meanwhile, Limay Mayor Nelson David is positive of a “landslide victory” for BBM-Sara tandem in Bataan.

“Alam ko po na tayo sa Bataan ay iisa, at iisa para kay BBM-Sara. Ipakita natin sa lahat na tayo dito sa bayan ng Limay ay nagkakaisa katulad ng hangarin ng pagkakaisa nina (I know were one in Bataan, one for BBM-Sara. Let’s show that here in the town of Limay are united like their vision to unite) future president and vice president Marcos and Duterte,” David said. (PR)
