MANILA – A video of presidential bet Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao after the last Commission on Elections debate where he vowed to escalate the war on illegal drugs to focus on manufacturers and pushers continues to go viral online.

Maniwala kayo sa akin (If I win, you better be ready I will not kill [drug] users, they are poor and pitiful. You manufacturers and pushers, you are the problem)," Pacquiao said during the interview which has gained more than 6,300 shares and more than 147,000 engagements since it was posted by an SMNI journalist.

During the debate, Pacquiao said his administration will respect due process in continuing the drug war.

The former international boxing champ urged voters to look at his campaign promises on his performance record.

Bakit pangako kayo ng pangako lalo namang naghihirap ang bansa natin kasi nagnanakaw kayo sa ating bansa (When I speak of housing, free education, that is not a promise, I have undertaken it before I promise. Some [candidates] make promises that they did not fulfill, it only makes the country poorer)," he added. (PNA)
