Over P1-M shabu seized, 17 suspects nabbed in Bulacan

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan – Over PHP1.1 million worth of illegal drugs were seized and 17 drug suspects were arrested in the intensified police operations in this province on Thursday and Friday.

In his report, Colonel Charlie A. Cabradilla, acting director of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, said operatives confiscated 160 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of PHP1,088,000 following a drug trade in Barangay Ibayo, Marilao town around 1 a.m. Friday.

Cabradilla said the arrested suspects were identified as Mark Kamsa, 27, a security guard and resident of Baseco Compound, Barangay 649 in Tondo, Manila; and Jonathan Adona, 36, electrician, a resident of Barangay Lias, Marilao town, this province.

Likewise, he said that a series of drug bust operations led to the arrest of 15 other drug suspects.

They were identified as Delfin dela Cruz Jr., Victoria Felipe, Reynold Dela Cru, Erick Glodo, Wimpy Bal Dilao, Mandy Garcia, Jejomar Supan, Jonathan Ocado, Gilbert Buenaventura, Joseph Geronimo, Christian Rivera, Arnold Joson, Mamerto Nobe Jr, Florencio Santiago Jr., and Rowena Santiago.

Recovered from the suspects were a total of 44 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of PHP111,096, drug paraphernalia, and the bust money.
