CAPAS, Tarlac – Reigning Philippines Football League (PFL) champion United Clark officially announced on Tuesday that it will finally get to play its home matches for the rest of the season at the New Clark City Athletic Stadium here.

Two home matches have been formally scheduled to take place at the venue, one against the Azkals Development Team coached by former United Clark skipper Stephan Schrock on October 22 and the other against Stallion Laguna on November 5.

With this, United Clark officially becomes the first PFL club to call a place in Central Luzon home.

"To represent Central Luzon and bring football to the local community is a major step in the development of professional football in the country," club president Eric Gottschalk said during the press conference after the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Bases Conversion Development Authority, the Central Luzon Football Association, and the Philippine Football Federation.

According to United Clark, ticket selling for both matches will begin this week.

The club has two more matches scheduled this month, an October 8 clash against Mendiola and an October 15 battle against Dynamic Herb Cebu in the latter's turf, the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex in Talisay City. (PNA)
