Cloudy Saturday with short periods of rain due to ITCZ

MANILA – Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and localized thunderstorms on Saturday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the ITCZ would affect most parts of Mindanao and Palawan.

The PAGASA YouTube public weather forecast reported that Luzon and the Visayas would continue to experience hot and humid weather due to the easterlies.

Moderate winds will blow over Extreme Northern Luzon headed southeast to east, with moderate seas.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience light to moderate winds headed east to northeast, with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 23°C to 32°C; Laoag City, 25°C to 32°C; Lipa City, 26°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 31°C; Metro Cebu, 27°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 32°C. (PNA)
