MANILA – The Philippines' contingent to ONE on Prime Video 5 went 2-1 following the results of their matches on Saturday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Mixed martial artist Denice Zamboanga and muay Thai star Jackie Buntan scored huge wins as they begin their road to return to the world title picture.

Zamboanga outlasted China's Lin Heqin to score a split-decision win.

Zamboanga delivered the early barrage on Lin, which turned out to be enough despite Lin putting up a better performance in the third round.

Buntan, on the other hand, capped a dominant display against Great Britain's Amber Kitchen with a third-round knockdown that sealed her unanimous decision win.

However, Eduard Folayang did not share the same fate as Edson Marques knocked him out.

Despite Folayang being the aggressor, Marques silenced the pro-Folayang crowd when he struck a right hook on that knocked Folayang out at the 2:51 mark of Round 2. (PNA)
