MANILA – Parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) and Cavite province will go waterless for a few days as the Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) has scheduled a water interruption due to its network maintenance from Dec. 5 to 8.
In an advisory, Maynilad said the maintenance activities are part of its continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone.
The affected areas are:
Barangays 28, 33 and 34 in Caloocan City from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. of Dec. 5, specifically inside the Dagat-Dagatan Sewer & Treatment Plant.
Barangays Molino II and Molino III in Bacoor City from 10 p.m. of Dec. 6 until 4 a.m. of Dec. 7, particularly in Molino Road corner Molino Boulevard near in front of Mang Inasal.
Barangay 166 in Caloocan City from 8 p.m. of Dec. 6 until 4 a.m. of Dec. 7, specifically in Llano corner T. Samson for leak repair activity.
Barangays 12 and 14 in Caloocan City from 11 p.m. of Dec. 6 until 4 a.m. of Dec. 7, particularly in Alimasag (Pagui-Kanduli).
Barangays NBBS Kaunlaran, NBBS Proper and North Bay Boulevard in Navotas City from 11 p.m. of Dec. 7 until 4 a.m. of Dec. 8.
Affected customers were advised to store enough water for the duration of the water interruption.
Water tankers will be on standby and ready to deliver water to affected areas when necessary, said Maynilad. (PNA)
