Weeklong police ops net 5 most wanted persons in C. Luzon

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Authorities have arrested five most wanted persons in Central Luzon in a span of one week, the Police Regional Office-3 (PRO-3) reported on Tuesday.

Brig. Gen. Cesar R. Pasiwen, PRO-3 director, said those apprehended were two regional and three top most wanted persons in the provinces of Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

Pasiwen identified the two arrested regional wanted persons as Janeth Cruz and Ronald Maranan.

Cruz, with aliases Aryang/Libay/Ditsy/Laura/Frankie/Trixie/Ali/Marbe, is the secretary of the Central Luzon Regional White Area Committee of the New People’s Army and a member of Execom Central Luzon’s Regional Committee (CLRC).

She is listed as the Most Wanted Person in Central Luzon with two alias warrants of arrest for murder and kidnapping.

Cruz was nabbed last Dec. 8 following a manhunt operation in Barangay Majon, Malolos City, Bulacan.

On the other hand, Maranan is listed as the most wanted person in Calabarzon region. He was also arrested in Malolos City for statutory rape last Dec. 8.

Meanwhile, Christian San Pedro, the most wanted person in Bulacan province, was also apprehended in Malolos City for robbery on Dec. 8.

Dexter Ornum, tagged as the most wanted person in Sto. Domingo town, Nueva Ecija province for rape, was apprehended last Dec. 11.

Mark Denver, the No. 6 most wanted person of Bongabon town, also in Nueva Ecija for homicide was arrested by operatives on Dec. 8

Pasiwen lauded the operating troops for a job well done.

“Those arrested wanted persons will now face prosecution and be made answerable for their crimes,” he said in a statement. (PNA)
