MANILA – The jackpot prize of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is expected to soar to PHP443 million on its next draw on the night of December 20.

In a statement Tuesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said no winner bagged the jackpot from Sunday night's draw that yielded a winning combination of 03-01-44-42-58-02 and carried a jackpot prize of PHP428 million.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

To avoid forfeiture of winnings, winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize, as specified in Republic Act 1169.

The PCSO further reminded the public that all lotto jackpot prizes must be claimed at the PCSO Main Office along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

To claim the prizes, winners must write their names and sign at the back of the winning ticket and present two government-issued IDs.

Meanwhile, the PCSO said there would be no selling of tickets and lotto draws on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

“December 25, Sunday, Christmas Day, and Jan. 1, 2023, Sunday, New Year’s Day, no selling/ no draw,” the agency said in an advisory.

Meanwhile, a bettor from Valenzuela who won the PHP63 million jackpot prize of the November 27 Super Lotto 6/49 draw claimed his prize at the PCSO main office on November 28.

The winner, a 69-year-old retired factory worker, disclosed that his number combination came from a dream he had back in 1995, just before the launch of Lotto 6/42.

There was no lotto back then, it was 1995. When lotto started, I took care of the numbers. I never imagined that I would win the jackpot now. I am thankful to God that my number hit the jackpot and that I had a bet. Because sometimes in a week, I am not able to make a bet. At times, I could not make a bet three times during one week. Fortunately, it was the Lord's gift to make my dream come true),” said the new millionaire.

The winner, who is a father of three, used to earn PHP500 daily as a factory worker.

He said he is grateful for winning the jackpot prize and never doubted he would win it someday.

First, I thank the Lord God for this grace. He has repaid my sufferings all these years far more than what I expected. Thank you very much to PCSO. Over the length of time that I have been patronizing your games, I never once had doubts. So here I am, holding what I have been longing for),” he added. (PNA)
