Parts of QC, Pasig waterless March 31-April 1, April 3-4

MANILA – The Manila Water Company (Manila Water) on Thursday announced water interruption due to its service improvement activities in some parts of Quezon City and Pasig City from March 31 to April 1 and April 3 to 4, respectively.

In its advisory, Manila Water said parts of Barangay Tandang Sora, particularly in Florville Street corner Fercon Street in Quezon City will be waterless from 10 p.m. of March 31 to 4 a.m. of April 1 for line meter and strainer declogging activities.

On the other hand, parts of Barangays Oranbo, San Antonio and Ugong, specifically in Meralco Avenue corner Capt. Javier, St. Martin corner Capt. Javier, and Shaw Boulevard corner Escriva Drive In Pasig City will be affected by water interruption from 10 p.m. of April 3 to 4 a.m. of April 4, also for line meter and strainer declogging.

The water firm advised residents in the affected areas to store enough water for their needs during the service improvement activities.

It reminded them that once water service is restored, conduct flushing by letting the water flow out for a few minutes until it becomes clear.
