MANILA – TNT Tropang Giga sets a new Philippine Basketball Association record for most triples in a finals game en route to whipping Ginebra, 116-104, in Game 4 of the Governors' Cup Finals in front of 16,203 fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The Tropang Giga reset the finals record they themselves set in 2015 by dropping 21 triples on the Gin Kings.

TNT did so without the services of RR Pogoy, who will sit out the rest of the series due to a fractured finger he suffered in Game 3.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson proved that he deserves to be the Best Import of the Conference by dropping 36 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals to lead the Tropang Giga, who tied the best-of-seven affair at two games apiece.

Jayson Castro added 17 points off the bench.

Justin Brownlee led the Gin Kings with 28 points while Scottie Thompson added 22 points.

Christian Standhardinger, who won the Best Player of the Conference award earlier in the night, was held to only 10 points. (PNA)
