70 unvaxxed residents among 129 active Covid-19 cases in Caraga

BUTUAN CITY – At least 70 unvaccinated individuals comprise the 129 remaining active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the Caraga Region, the Department of Health in the area (DOH-13) reported Monday.

“Of the remaining active cases in the region, 53 are considered asymptomatic, 70 are with moderate symptoms, and six are with severe symptoms,” DOH-13 said.

The report indicated that 58 of the active cases are individuals who are fully vaccinated, while one is fully vaccinated with a dose of booster shot.
 
As of April 23, the total cumulative Covid-19 cases recorded in the region stands at 63,520 with seven new cases, 129 active cases, 61,003 recoveries, and 2,388 deaths.
 
Of the seven new cases, three were from Surigao del Sur, two in Agusan del Sur, and another two from Bayugan City. (PNA)
