The DOH-13 Covid-19 update as of May 16, 2023.
BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Health (DOH) 13 (Caraga) has logged 128 coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) recoveries from May 1 to 16.
With the number, the total cumulative recoveries in the region stood at 61,184 since Covid-19 was officially declared to have entered the country in March 2020.
A total of 133 cases were also recorded in the past 16 days, bringing the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the region to 63,777.
Nine deaths related to the virus were also logged during the period as the cumulative number of deaths now stand at 2,399.
As of Tuesday, the region has 194 active Covid-19 cases.
Vaccination campaigns against the disease are also continuing in health centers in the region. (PNA)
