DAVAO CITY – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) - Port of Davao has exceeded its May 2023 revenue collection target by PHP235.86 million, an official said Monday.

In a statement, Guillermo Pedro Francia IV, BOC-Davao acting district collector, said the agency managed to collect PHP4.39 billion in revenue last month, which is 5.67 percent higher than its target of PHP4.1 billion.

He credited the accomplishment to the continued collaboration and dialogue among employees and stakeholders, who consistently engage in transactions at the ports under Collection District 12 (Ports of Davao, General Santos, Parang and Mati).

Francia also lauded the BOC personnel for "outstanding service and hard work."

“The dedication to public service of the Collection District 12 serves as a testament to the district's commitment to lifting the bureau as among the world's best customs administrations,” he said. (PNA)
